Morning Roundup: Nebulae Critters!

If your nebula is of the planetary variety, it will likely grow planets, which maybe, might someday sustain life. But what if nebulae themselves were alive? Artist Chris Keegan has manipulated images from the Hubble Space Telescope and formed a series of impressive space monsters. (A sample of one of these creatures is on the right! More here. Via io9.)

Your daily offsite links were once just a dust and gas spinning in space, looking pretty.

Highlights include:

  1. Pepper Potts suits up.
  2. A Planet of the Apes request.
  3. Doctor Who spoilers for after the 50th anniversary!

Iron Man

Star Trek

Planet of the Apes

We love this picture from Planet of the Apes, but can someone please identify this awesome woman in curlers?

Stubby the Rocket is the mascot of Tor.com. Stubby owns like two nebulae.
