Come enjoy the holiday edition of the I, Reader series, presented in conjunction with Brooklyn-based sci-fi bookstore, Singularity & Co. and taking place this Friday, December 14.

This series features writers, personalities and performers talking about and reading aloud their favorite genre stories. The theme for tomorrow will be Winter is Here!

The reading starts at 7:00 PM but those who show up at 6:00 PM will be treated with free wine courtesy of Brooklyn wine shop Blanc & Rogue. This series is hosted and curated by Tor.com’s own Ryan Britt.

The line-up of readers for tomorrow includes:

  • Justin Taylor (Everything Here is the Best Thing Ever, The Gospel of Anarchy.)
  • Lyndsay Faye (The Gods of Gotham, Dust and Shadow, Baker Street Babes)
  • Matt Mercier (The Moth, Glimmer Train Stories)
  • Natalie Zutter (AFK On Air, GrayHaven Comics, Hunger Games Fireside Chat)

So, if you’re in the New York City area, come on out to Brooklyn and be warmed up by some wine and great genre stories! (We’re told Lyndsay will be performing a selection from the only canon Sherlock Holmes story that takes place around the holidays! Do you know what it is? Here’s a hint.)

RSVP on the Facebook event here. And check out photos from the past readings here and here.
