Sir Patrick Stewart Confirms His Return as Xavier in X-Men: Days of Future Past

Appearing at the Montreal Comic Convention last week, Sir Patrick Stewart said “Yes, I’ll be reprising,” in reference to his role as everyone’s favorite telepath Professor Charles Xavier. Though this is unconfirmed by Bryan Singer, or any of the production team behind the next X-Men movie, it stands to reason that an older Xavier should appear since the Days of Future Past storyline involves time travel. Will Hugh Jackman and Ian McKellan also appear? Stewart’s son was shouting out their names, so maybe!
