If we had Bill Nye in the Tor.com office you probably wouldn’t see anything go up on this site, ever, so consumed would we be with asking him incessant science-related questions. (The first being “How do bow ties work?”)
We are not alone in this, so our ears perked up when we heard that the folks over at Quick & Dirty Tips are launching Everyday Einstein today, a portal designed specifically to answer your science questions. The questions will be tackled by Dr. Lee Falin (on the right in cartoon form), who holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois and a Ph.D. in Genetics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from Virginia Tech.
You can submit questions at the above link! After we ask why faster-than-light travel makes us so gassy, that is.
Stubby the Rocket is the mascot of Tor.com and wants to know why opening a quantum tunnel with an FTL factor of 36.7 recurring doesn’t work. Explain that, science.
