Tribbles Week Contest Reminder

If you’re still working on entries for our Tribbles Week contests, remember that they close on Monday, April 26 at 12:00pm EST. Don’t delay! The early tribble gets the grain, and not even the Orb of Time will help if you miss the deadline.

We’ve seen some strong submissions already, but hopefully they’ll multiply over the weekend. To win the Tribble Crown, all you have to do is write a synopsis of the tribble episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation that should have been, or compose lyrics for a Klingon song relating the Empire’s glorious victory over tribbles. (You may get extra points if you actually write your song in tlhIngan Hol, but please include a translation in Federation Standard.) We also welcome Klingon poetry—chances are, you’ll do a better job than Worf.

Prizes include handmade tribbles; The Best of Star Trek on DVD; and Boarding the Enterprise: Transporters, Tribbles and the Vulcan Death Grip in Gene Roddenberry’s Star Trek, edited by David Gerrold and Robert J. Sawyer. For details, contest rules, and to submit your entries, please click on the individual posts above.

We can’t wait to see what’s out there… Make it so!

Eugene Myers thinks it’s only a matter of time before Build-A-Tribble Workshops will be available all over the country. We just have to start with one.
