  • Win a DVD set of the sadly short-lived show Blood Ties, based on the Tanya Huff books, by commenting about other series that were cancelled before their time. This one ends tonight, Wednesday, July 15, and is open to residents of the US and Canada.

  • Geeks of Doom has three copies of season six of Reno 911! to give away. Ends July 16, US only.

  • Fantasy Debut has three copies of Caleb Fox’s Zadayi Red, a retelling of a Cherokee legend, to give away. Ends July 16, open to everyone.

  • For their final Road to Comic-Con audiobook giveaway, Suvudu is offering the entire unabridged Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini: Eragon, Eldest, and Brisingr. The question this time is, “If you could have a flying dragon like Saphira for one day, where would you go and what would you do?” (My answer: call Guillermo del Toro and see if he can do the Smaug scenes in 24 hours.) Ends July 17, open to US.

  • Graeme’s Fantasy Book Review is giving away a copy of the Warhammer book Salamander by Nick Kyme. Ends July 19, open to everyone.

  • Slice of SciFi is giving away three DVD copies of the remastered Stargate: SG-1 feature-length pilot, “Children of the Gods.” Ends July 20 open to the US and Canada.

  • Slice of SciFi also has a copy of the Coraline DVD, which looks deliciously full of extras. Ends July 21, open to the US and Canada.

  • The Fantasy & Sci Fi Book Review is giving away a copy of Charles Stross’ short story collection Wireless. Ends July 29, open to everyone.

  • Baen Books is holding a contest to name its next vampire anthology, and the worse your vampire pun, the better chance you have at $100, ten copies, and a thank-you in the book.

  • My back teeth are floating…oh, wait, so’s the rest of me…. Guinness beer turns 250 this year, and to celebrate, they’re offering up a spot on “the world’s first spaceline,” a sub-orbital zero-G experience of the kind used to train astronauts (and nicknamed the “vomit comet”—is that the Guinness tie-in?). The winner and a friend will get to experience weightlessness and a killer view. You can also win a submarine trip and a private concert from the Black-Eyed Peas. Ends September 24, multiple entries ok, long list of eligible countries. (via Yahoo!)
